Minimalist Old Yankee Stadium

The original Yankee Stadium was the House That Ruth Built, home to the Yankees from 1923 until 2008, where 26 World Series championships were celebrated and the most iconic moments in baseball history played out. S. Preston captures that piece of Yankees history in this officially licensed minimalist art print. As seen in ESPN and Sports Illustrated. A must-have for any Yankees fan or the perfect gift for the Bronx baseball fan who grew up at the Cathedral.

VARIANT 1: MONUMENTS

Pre 1980's, monument park was not behind the centerfield wall. It was in front of the wall. At the time there was one the three monuments of Lou Gehrig, Miller Huggins and Babe Ruth, and they stood on the warning track of the ballpark. Also in play was a flagpole just in front of the wall.
